It has become a tradition at Dowletliler Kosgi to hold the festive ceremony, in which schoolchildren receive New Year’s gifts from President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The concert, performed in front of a beautiful New Year's tree decorated with glittering tinsel, lights and garlands in the festively decorated assembly hall, was an adornment of the ceremony. Popular artists, theatre groups and favourite fairy-tale characters came to Dowletliler Kosgi to perform for children.


In their turn, young hosts of Dowletliler Kosgi demonstrated their versatile talents to their guests; they recited poems, including their own verses, sang songs and danced. Ayaz Baba and Garpamyk presented souvenirs and New Year’s gifts to young artists.

The unceasing concern for the younger generation of the Turkmen people is one the fundamental concepts of the social policy of the leader of Turkmenistan. Consistent measures are taken in the country to ensure that our children have a happy childhood. Thanks to such tender attitude and care young citizens of Turkmenistan, including children from Dowletliler Kosgi, participate in prestigious contests and international festivals. Many children win prizes and awards in arts contests held in our country and abroad in the epoch of might and happiness.
