On the first day of the new year, the New Year's gifts were presented to the Döwletliler Köşgi students on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

The heads of the National Parliament, a number of ministries and departments, mass media, all political parties of the country, youth, women's and other public organisations attended the festive event.

A New Year's performance with participation of Ayazbaba, Garpamyk and heroes of famous fairy tales took place near a festively decorated New Year's tree.

Popular artists, who donated the profit they got from a concert to the Döwletliler köşgi, as well as children themselves demonstrated their talents performing songs, dances and poems glorifying our beautiful otherland. And the life-affirming power of love and all-conquering power of good reigned in every performance.
