This magic, happy and colorful holiday becomes unforgettable, particularly for children, who sense in it a mass of cheerful impressions and emotions, receive numerous gifts and unexpected pleasant surprises. After that, good memories about it remain whole year.
During winter holidays on carnival show in “Alem” cultural and entertainment center and other New Year meetings with favorite heroes and magic characters to be held at the capital’s theatres, cinema and concert halls and circus, thousands of young residents of Turkmenistan from all towns and provinces will also visit the children’s health centers in Gokdere.
Festive solemnities were held with New Year morning performances and motley carnivals, colorful musical and theatrical performances in the kindergartens and schools, theatres and cultural centers.
Children wait for many surprises and enthusiastic moments in New Year performances: fascinating games, quiz games and contests, meeting with magician Ayazbaba and his assistant Garpamyk, favorite heroes of tales and animated cartoons, and of course, with symbol of 2015 on eastern calendar – cheerful lamb.
Festive events organized by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and State Committee of Turkmenistan for television, radio broadcasting and cinematography, municipalities of the capital and provinces will last in the days of winter holidays and complete on January 10. Young residents of Turkmenistan, who arrive in the capital during this period, will also enjoy fascinating excursions over Ashgabat, entertaining centers, theatres and sights of the capital.
