The celebrations in honour of Hero of Turkmenistan, Honoured Elder of Turkmenistan, a renowned farmer Myratberdy Sopyev, who celebrated his 85th jubilee, took place in Gyami village in Ak Bugday Etrap, Ahal Velayat.
The festivities were held at the cultural centre in the village. Those speaking at the festive meeting told about the life of Myratberdy aga, who had made a tremendous contribution to the development of Turkmenistan’s agricultural sector.
A souvenir was presented on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the prominent agricultural worker. It is a sign of high respect that the Turkmen leader has for prominent farmers, including Myratberdy aga, who have devoted thier life to the agricultural sector and take much effort to enhance the generosity of the Turkmen land.
