The vilayet round of the contest “Woman of the year” was held in Dashoguz. The representatives of various professions, residents of villages, settlements, towns and administrative center of the northern region of the country took part in this traditional action aimed at improvement of creative and intellectual potential of women – the participants of business and social life of the country.

The contest was held in seven nominations: “For high organizational abilities”, “Skilful mistress”, “For contribution to the development of society”, “For attainments on upbringing of children”, “For high professional skills”, “For successes in entrepreneurship”, “For contribution to the development of village”.

Among prizewinners of the vilayet round of the contest “Woman of the year” – the head of kindergarten, carpet-weaver, employee of Koneurgench State historic-cultural nature reserve, nurse, entrepreneur and others.

The winners of vilayet round of the contest “Woman of the year” received in solemn atmosphere the valuable gifts from Dashoguz vilayet association of Trade Unions.
