Kallin Vikol – professor of cardiosurgery of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich paid a visit to Mary. In Turkmenistan, the German professor implements very important mission: introduces and develops together with the Turkmen colleagues of Clinical Center of Cardiology the treatment methods of cardiovascular diseases.


Visit to Mary was very rich. It was started with familiarization with the medical infrastructure of the province. In particular, the guest visited the Center of emergency aid, Mother and Child Health Protection Center. At the Diagnostic Center of the province, he spent rather much time than it was envisaged in the program of the visit in order to talk with the doctors. Professor Vikol also consulted several patients. After diagnosing, each of them was provided with recommendations and determined the plan of action on treatment.


Upon completion of the visit of Professor Vikol to Mary, the scientific-practical conference on issues of surgical treatment methods of more frequent cardiologic diseases was held in the assembly hall of “Dermanhana” Management of the province. Workers of medical sphere of the province – cardiologists, therapeutists, resuscitation specialists, family doctors – in total, over two hundred physicians from towns and etraps of the province participated in it. Purpose of the conference is the informing about modern attainments of world cardiosurgery.

At the conference, Kallin Vikol delivered his report with use of slides. The guest from Germany dwelled in detail on innovative treatment methods of structural cardiologic diseases, specific medicamental treatment.
