The ceremonies of presenting money gifts on behalf of the leader of Turkmenistan to all women of the country – from workers at enterprises and institutions and those, who are in well-earned retirement, to schoolgirls and kindergarten girls – took place throughout the country on the eve of International Women’s Day.
The celebrations in honour of mothers with many children, who received the honorary title of Ene Myahri, and the ceremonies of presenting state awards to women of the country were held in the capital of Turkmenistan
The wonderful dedication to glorious daughters of the Motherland was a big concert performed at the Palace of Assembly Maslahat Kosgi in the capital of Turkmenistan.
“All the flowers in the world, all the poetic and musical dedications are for you, beloved women!” – so figuratively an atmosphere, reigning in the magnificent hall, where the heads of Mejlis, cabinet ministers, representatives of public organisations, the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, ministries and agencies, research and educational institutions, the media, arts and cultural workers, students and, of course, the heroines of the celebrations – woman gathered together, could be described. Among them were labour veterans, front-rank workers and activists of public organisations, representing all the sectors of the national economy, mothers with many children, who had received the honorary title of Ene Myahri, women of Turkmenistan, who received state awards, and the winners in the contest The Woman of the Year-2015 and other artistic and professional contests.
The performances of participants in the concert, including the best professional artistic ensembles from all over the country, folk groups and musicians, pop singers and young artists demonstrated continuity of artistic traditions. They performed the compositions of Turkmen classical music, popular and folk songs about women and for women, songs about women's happiness and faithfulness, maternal love and patience, imperishable beauty of the native land and gentle Turkmen spring that was coming into its own these days.
The festive concert can rightfully described as in praise of women – gentle and charming, wise and modest, loving and loved.
It should be noted that nearly every concert on the main stage of the country opens new talents. This time, we can congratulate the boy group from Turkmen National Conservatoire on their successful debut. They performed the popular song Şirmaýy darak based on the verses of Mollanepes.
The group of young violinists Mukam presented a bouquet of musical works to the audience. The girl group Lyale presented an original interpretation of the song Lyalejan – a favourite song of many generations of the Turkmen people. A musical dedication to young girls performed by young pop singers, who formed a vocal quintet on the occasion of International Women’s Day, drew a warm response in the hearts of the spectators.
Music, grace, beauty of national costumes merged in the bright dance compositions performed by the State Dance Ensemble of Turkmenistan and the folk and dance groups Nyazli, Mengli, Serpay, Dokmacylar and Dehistan. Witty and sparkling jokes of humorists, who acted as compères for the festive concert, brought joy to beautiful women.
