The ceremony of conferring military and special ranks to military servants and specialists of the military and law-enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan for their professionalism demonstrated during the “Watan Gercegi” combined-arms tactical exercises taken place on the territory of the Kelyata Educational and Training Centre of the Ministry of Defence. The exercises were organized in accordance with the Decree of President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Military ranks were conferred to military servants, who demonstrated the high level of combat training and professionalism. On behalf of President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, special gifts were awarded to all participants of the combined-arms tactical exercises.

During the ceremony, representatives of the military and law-enforcement agencies of the country underlined the significance of the tactical exercises. It was noted that the exercises would be held in our country on a regular basis. It was also emphasized that in accordance with the Military Doctrine of Turkmenistan that has a defensive character, the Armed Forces of our country had become an advanced school to train high-qualified military servants, who are able to serve on land, in air and maritime space.
