On the eve of significant for independent neutral Turkmenistan date – the 20th anniversary of the State “Health” Program, the Central Bank of the country minted gold and silver coins with a face value of 50 manats each, as well as a set from these coins.
Numismatic novelties were made by “The Royal Mint Limited” Mint of Great Britain. Like all samples of national currency, their design also differs by originality and corresponds with the best national traditions of the Turkmen people.
In the central part of facing side of new commemorative coins, there is the octagon, where the symbol of public health of Turkmenistan in the form of snake - cobra in a frame of medicinal herbs Ferula and Peganum harmala, growing on the fertile Turkmen land and being widely used in national medicine from antiquity. In the bottom of an octagon, there is a legend “TURKMENISTANYN LUKMANÇYLYGY”.
The legend “SAGLYK DÖWLET MAKSATNAMASYNA 20 ÝYL”, decorating the top part of obverse of coin on a circle reminds about historical event in which honor numismatic novelties have been minted. On lower part – the year of mint of commemorative coin “2015”.
State emblem of Turkmenistan and legend “TURKMENISTANYN MERKEZI BANKY” was depicted in the center on the reverse of coin. It was also placed the legend “ELLI MANAT”, reflecting its nominal value. On the left from this legend, it was indicated the standard of coin ( on the gold - Аu 916.7 and silver - Ag 925). On the right, there is its weight. In equal 38.61-millimeter, the weight of gold coin is 39.94 grams, and silver – 28.28 grams. The legends have been divided with patterns in the form of eight-pointed star.
High quality of coins – “proof” guarantees the attached certificate of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
