The parade of building premieres taking place throughout the country to mark the 20th anniversary of independence continued with the ceremonies of putting new facilities in operation in Lebap and Dashoguz Velayat.
The State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports two large-scale social facilities – the kindergarten and sports complex were put into operation in Gyorogly Etrap in Dashoguz Velayat.
Young hosts of the new preschool institutions have the studios for studying music and arts, computer classroom and language laboratory at their disposal. There are the swimming pool and playing grounds in the adjacent territory.
The sports complex consists of the 1,500-seat stadium and hotel. There are outdoor grounds with the special surface where athletes will play tennis, volleyball, mini football and basketball.
The similar complex will be built in the region in the near future. Together with the new sports school designed for 365 young sportsmen under construction it will allow creating a network of sports facilities meeting modern requirements in the region.
Dozens of families in Turkmenabat, the administrative centre of Lebap Velayat have celebrated house-warming parties this week. They received the keys to comfortable apartments in the new four-storey house which is the sixth one put into operation this year in the region.
