On September 1, the Children's Auto Park that became one of bright events of a month started on this day “Safety of road traffic - calmness of our life” was opened in capital. Honorable elders as well as young owners of Auto Park - numerous children, who should comprehend here traffic elements, have taken part in the opening ceremony.
Two-storey building with extensive accomplished territory was erected in the northern part of the capital. Participants of the ceremony have visited the road traffic museum placed in the building of Auto Park.
In classrooms of Auto Park, the computers and multimedia systems will assist the teachers. They will tell about the traffic regulation for pedestrians and motorists, traffic signs, in the game form will help to check up and fix the knowledge. At the service of schoolchildren, there is also a cinema hall, where it will be demonstrated the training and informative films devoted to traffic regulations and its safety.
In the territory of the park, there is a mini-motordrome. Here, the site of an urban road system and country highways is recreated in a miniature. An asphalt covering, sidewalks, switching lamps of traffic lights, traffic signs and markings - all as in real streets in order to consolidate in practice the knowledge got at the museum, training classes and cinema hall.
Within the framework of a month, various events, including sectoral conferences, will be organized everywhere. In comprehensive schools and preschool institutions, it will be held thematic competitions. All over the country, it will be widely expanded the program actions aimed at popularization in our society of standards of behavior on roads, comprehension of personal responsibility of each participant of traffic for its safety.
