Independent neutral Turkmenistan, which has resolutely directed its enormous peace-making, economic and resource potential for the service of the world, more often attracts heightened interest of the world mass-media.
Publication of special magazine “20 years of Turkmenistan’s neutrality” prepared by Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia in honour of the major event of 2015 - the 20th anniversary since obtaining by the Turkmen state of the status of permanent positive neutrality, and a number of publications on pages of popular European magazine “Diplomatisches Magazin” became a regular confirmation of this fact.
So, present day of modern Turkmenistan, success of the foreign policy strategy, being realized by Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, based on such firm principles as peace, universal safety and mutually beneficial cooperation became a topic of the article published in October issue of the European magazine “Diplomatisches Magazin”.
Both magazines agree in opinion that the legal status of neutrality, which has become innovative experience in practice of modern international relations, defines a special role of Turkmenistan in the decision of pressing issues of regional and world politics.
The power policy of Turkmenistan, having enormous deposits of natural resources, first of all, oil and gas, became another not less important topic of discussion on an information field of two editions.
