The festive events, marking the completion of the second construction stage projects in Tyaze Zaman village, located in Derveze Etrap in Ahal Velayat, were held. The opening ceremonies of 942 houses with 1,046 apartments, kindergarten, park and mosque took place there.
The heads of regional administration, ministries and departments, deputies of Mejlis, media representatives and numerous local citizens came to visit new dwellers.
Happy new dwellers offered bread and salt to their guests and invited them to their homes. The housing projects take the specific features of the rural way of life and traditions of Turkmen families into consideration. Each household has the plot of land, kitchen garden, shed, tamdyr and place for keeping livestock. All the amenities, including terraces, spacious comfortable rooms, furnished kitchen, garages and network facilities, are built for dwellers.
Several types of spacious apartment houses – one- and two-storey – are designed for one and two families who occupy three-, four- and five-room apartments.
The ceremony participants visited the apartments where their owners extended a hearty welcome in the best traditions of hospitality of the Turkmen – with delicious food, merriment, music and festive rituals. The beautiful housewarming and wedding rituals and ceremonies and the special rituals which mark the event of reaching the age of the Prophet Muhammad were carried out.
The ceremony participants visited the cultural centre, where popular singers and folk dance ensemble performed a concert.
The guests could see the conditions created at the cultural centre to carry out various cultural actions and leisure activities, involving rural citizens. It houses the auditorium with 200 seats and the Toy Mekany designed for family celebrations and wedding parties.
Then the festivities moved to the shopping centre. A theatrical performance, reproducing the scenes of a lively and colourful oriental bazaar, was presented on the square in front of the shopping centre.

The kindergarten for 240 children is the second facility of this kind built in the village. Its building houses spacious bright rooms, including cosy bedrooms, classrooms equipped with multimedia and interactive technologies, language laboratories and computer rooms, music rooms, gyms and medical room. There are several playgrounds and sports fields with all necessary facilities on the adjacent territory where children will spend with great pleasure the hours allocated for outdoor play activities.

The primary school classrooms and the classrooms where children study various school subjects, including mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, are supplied with interactive and other special equipment and visual aids. The school building also houses the well-equipped computer rooms and language laboratories. All the necessary conditions for labour education are created at the school. The gyms and playgrounds for physical training and various sports, supplied with sports equipment, are at the schoolchildren’s disposal.
