On the threshold of main national holiday, at the central stadium of multipurpose sport complex “Ashgabat”, it was held a big celebration devoted to the 24th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. More than twenty thousand spectators have gathered here, having filled to the full the tribunes before which the colorful dramatized representation was developed. The celebration of ideas of independence, unity of the Turkmen people, triumph of their high spirit and creative energy became a leitmotif of mass statement.
On the occasion of significant event, the vice-chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Chairwoman and deputies of Parliament, honorable elders, heads of the diplomatic representatives and missions accredited to Turkmenistan, ambassadors of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, representatives of social organizations, national and foreign mass media, numerous youth have gathered here. Among guests of honor are our compatriots from abroad - participants of the completed ХVIII Forum of World Turkmen Humanitarian Association as well as numerous foreign guests.
In the centre of sports arena, young boys and girls line up a composition, representing a circle in the form of big carpet ornaments with figure “ХХIV”, symbolizing the current anniversary of independence of our Fatherland. Opposite to the main tribune of stadium, the participants of celebration by means of white tags form an inscription “GARAŞSYZLYK”.
Then the figure “ХХIV” turns to the image of racer, and famous Akhalteke horses, having international recognition, appear on stadium racetracks. The image of racer turns to a bud of revealing beautiful flower which, in turn, turns into white pigeon round which children are gathering. The sonorous songs, glorifying native land, the President of Turkmenistan, peaceful and happy life of the Turkmen state are sounding there. Under wonderful music, a bright representation with participation of Turkmen sportsmen - masters of various kinds of sports is developed on sports arena.
On sports arena, there is a model of the book of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov “Türkmen medeniýeti” (“Turkmen culture”). This deeply substantial and informative production narrates about the richest history of national culture. It is started the dramatized literary-musical representation of creative groups of five provinces. Each of them has embodied in its compositions the content of the book “Türkmen medeniýeti” (“Turkmen culture”). In this performance, for example, the creative group of Balkan province glorified the respectful attitude of the Turkmen people to water, which is a source of life, Lebap province - culture as property of the nation, Mary province - national games as school of beauty and display of national mentality, Ahal province - national customs of holidays and weddings, Dashoguz province - national dancing art.
The song “Arkadag”, glorifying the Motherland, independence, Turkmen people and President of independent neutral Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov became a finale of grandiose show.
