Conference of Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, which gathered the delegates from all provinces of the country, was held in Ashgabat.
Agenda of the forum, which took place in the Center of social organizations, included concrete tasks on realization of the State Program of Youth Policy for 2015-2020 passed in March, 2015 on the basis of the Law of Turkmenistan “On state youth policy”.
These documents are directed on creation of favorable conditions for full participation of youth in socio-economic, political and cultural life of the state and society as well as development in youth of spiritually-moral values and principles of healthy life-style, education of young generation in the spirit of patriotism, humanism and diligence.
With a view of complex solution of issues outlined in the mentioned Program, it was worked out the corresponding Plan of measures. Results of this work and its prospects were considered at the current conference.
As it was noted, the youth policy is the major direction of social strategy of the state and its ideological activity. Issues of spiritual, moral and physical development of young generation always are in focus of attention of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, government of the country.
Definition of the basic directions, the purposes and tasks of the youth policy, which conceptual positions cover, first of all, such issues as maintenance of high-grade legal and social status of young citizens of the country, protection of their rights and freedom, support of young families and others, is also connected with deep changes, radical reformations.
All these key directions have not been simply discussed at the conference of Youth Organization, but also have found deep and all-round consideration in a context of development of mechanisms of solution of tasks in these areas. In reports of forum participants, it was put forward the ideas and proposals on renovation of methods and approaches in activity of the Youth Organization of the country, which main mission is to promote development of human being and society, formation of his intellectual and labor potential.
Topics of delivered reports were quite various: from role of youth in implementation of socio-economic reforms and advancement of international initiatives of the nation leader Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov until activization of work in the field of popularization of sports and healthy life-style, support of scientific-technical creativity of the youth, etc.
It was considered the details of holding of socially-significant events, actions and realization of various projects on work with growing generation in cooperation with other social organizations of the country, state structures as well as higher educational establishments, schools, institutions of science and culture.
