Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin at the House of Government of the Russian Federation.

Meeting participants expressed satisfaction with the strategic nature of the interstate dialogue and expressed mutual interest in expanding cooperation between the governments of the two states.

The parties underlined the importance of the progressive development of bilateral relations, taking into account the trade, economic and investment potential, as well as building up cooperation in the humanitarian sphere. The effectiveness of the cooperation between Turkmenistan and the regions of the Russian Federation was underlined.

The parties exchanged views on significant issues of the regional and international agenda.
