The Kazan Helicopter Plant of the JSC Russian Helicopters  (part of the Rostec State Corporation) delivered the first Ansat helicopter to Turkmenistan, as well as the heavy multipurpose Mi-17-1V. Both vehicles will be used in the new International Burn Center for medical evacuation of injured and critically ill patients.

The contract for the supply of Ansat and Mi-17-1V helicopters was signed between the JSC Russian Helicopters  and the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency on March 31, 2020. 

Within the framework of the contract with the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency, 30 pilots and technicians were trained at the Kazan Helicopters Aviation Training Center. 

In 2009-2015, JSC Russian Helicopters delivered 11 helicopters manufactured by Kazan Helicopters to Turkmenistan.
