Kazan Sport Complex Bustan has hosted futsal tournament for 2021 – International Year of Peace and Trust Cup. The competitions were organized by the General Consulate of Turkmenistan in Kazan (Russian Federation)  with support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan Federal University.

8 student teams, which compositions included representatives from Turkmenistan, Armenia, Russian Federation, Union of African States, Union of Arabic States, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, have participated in the tournament.

The matches were played in two groups, which leader have met in the final. An exhibition game between diplomats accredited in Kazan and participants of the competitions have also been held under the tournament.

The main prize was won by Dostluk team made by the General Consulate of Turkmenistan. Student teams of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are on the second and third positions respectively. The winner was awarded with 2021 – International Year of Peace and Trust Cup, while the prize winners were awarded with medals.

The composition of Dostluk includes representatives of turkmen youth studying in various universities of Kazan – Abdyserdar Eminov, Ilyas Ekayev, Charydurdy Niyazov, Kadyr Kadyrov, Bagtiyar Ovezberdiyev, Ahmet Sariyevm Amangeldy Amangeldiyev, kerven Hudayberdiyev, Vagiz Piskov and Bayramgeldy Hummetgeldiyev.

The event was accompanied by cultural program prepared by the students from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, African countries and other. 

The event was highlighted by Russian mass media including Russia 1 federal channel, regional channels like TNV, Tatarstan 24, Air of the City, new agencies Tatar-Inform, Tatmedia as well as representatives of the press center of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affiars of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan Federal University.
