According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian countries and China held an online meeting. The meeting agenda was the preparations for the second ministerial meeting in the Central Asia-China format, scheduled to be held this year.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdiniyaz Myatiev.
Meeting participants considered key aspects of cooperation in the political sphere, as well as partnership in the spheres of trade, economy and culture. In addition, the parties proposed the preliminary agenda of the upcoming ministerial meeting "Central Asia - China" and discussed draft joint final documents.
