According to Azerbaijani media, Turkmenistan will develop football together with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Hungary within the framework of the Memorandum signed between the football associations of the Turkic-speaking countries on April 14.
On behalf of the Turkmen side, the document was signed by Chairman of the National Football Federation Arslan Aynazarov. For the other countries, the Memorandum was signed by the heads of the football associations of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, as well as the Secretary-General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev.
The Memorandum is aimed at strengthening cooperation between football associations, and provides an opportunity to exchange views in the process of implementing comprehensive measures for the development of football.
