Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea will be opened for citizens from June 1 to September 15 this year. Watan News program of Turkmen television informed that this decision has been made at the last session of the Government.

Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry Nurmuhammed Amannepesov has made a speech on organization of holidays for the citizens of the country in summer period at the session. The Minister informed about work of the Emergency Commission of Turkmenistan for combating the spread of diseases on organization of summer holidays of the citizens in Avaza National tourist zone on Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.

According to the minister, the holiday season on the coast is defined to be from June 1 to September 15 this year while for children in health resorts of the country from June 2 to August 26. The minister has also noted that it is proposed to establish the Control Center for rapid solution of appearing issues as well as to make sampling of water, air and soil in certain places of Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.

Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Beridmuhamedov noted the necessity of thorough preparation of health and recreation centers in Avaza for comprehensive summer holidays of the citizens.

According to the head of the state “the condition for holidays is very simple – each person can take his holiday have made a vaccine against the coronavirus”. “It is necessary to prepare children health improving centers for the season in the cities and regions of the country. It is necessary to make vaccination of personnel of these health resorts from coronavirus and to hold the compliance with sanitary standards in these centers”, - the head of the state highlighted.

The restrictions of holidays of the citizens in Avaza National tourist zone and swimming in Caspian Sea have been introduced on May 15, 2020 due to unfavorable infectious situation in the region and world.
