The Ramadan Tent was solemnly opened near the building of the Memorial Mosque on Poklonnaya Gora in the capital of Russia. This is an annual cultural and educational project, organized for over 16 years by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Moscow with the support of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia and the Moscow Government.

 The Ramadan Tent is a venue erected during the month of Ramadan for people to eat the daily Iftar meal. In 2020, the festival was canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions.

This year the cultural programme of the Ramadan Tent is dedicated to "reset". After such a difficult year, passed under the sign of a pandemic, people especially need to reassess their values. According to the organizers, the holy month of Ramadan is the best time for this. The Tent's design is also in line with the "Time to Blossom" slogan: the organizers used green decorative elements.

During the month, along with the main programme, the Tent will host thematic national evenings of the republics of the Russian Federation, as well as the countries of far-abroad countries and former Soviet republics, evenings of the halal industry, round tables, social programmes for the disabled, veterans, and special children's days. The Evening of Turkmenistan is also planned to be held within the framework of the Ramadan Tent programme.
