According to the website of the Jogorku Kenesh, within the framework of the meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Talant Sultanov was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan.

Previously, Talant Sultanov held the position of Director General of the State Enterprise of Diplomatic Service "Kyrgyzdipservice" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
