President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called citizens of the country to take protective measures against abnormal heat, which is expected in the coming days.

The head of the state has addressed this call to the population at the video conference session of the Government.

The head of the state has noted that high temperature is expected in the coming days based on the report provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection of Turkmenistan. In this regard, addressing the members of the Cabinet of Ministers, Turkmen leader highlighted the importance of taking protective measures from sun beams in the coming hot days. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has noted that it is required not to stay in the open sun without necessity, the time under the sun has to be limited especially for small children, their stay under the sun have to be under control. In addition, according to the head of the state, it is necessary to enforce the control of the compliance with fire safety regulations and, in this regard, to provide economic use of electricity.

“Strict adherence to these standards will allow avoiding heat stress in the days of increased sun activity”, - the head of Turkmenistan highlighted.
