As a good tradition, on the eve of the 8th of March, in the Turkmen capital and provinces, it will be held a series of social and cultural events, including conferences, concerts, art exhibitions and demonstration of new fashion collection “Spring-Summer 2016”.
Works of masters of art and performances of the best artistic groups of Turkmenistan will become musical and poetic dedication to women. The festive concert will take place in the recreation center “Altyn Yildyz.” It is jointly organized by the Democratic Party, the National Centre of Trade Unions, youth organizations and the Women's Union of Turkmenistan. And the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will gather women-entrepreneurs for the festive meeting in the business center.
Solemn celebration in honor of the best workers of textile industry will be held on the basis of Ruhabat Textile Complex. Within the framework of the event, it will be organized an exhibition of products of textile industry, which exposition will include new items produced specially for the holiday. A fashion house invites everybody to the show of new collection “Spring-Summer 2016”.
In the National Turkmen Carpet Museum, it will be held a concert of folk music. It was initiated by the Women's Union of Turkmenistan and the State Association “Turkmenhaly”.
Competition for the best musical production and song in glory of the beauty of Turkmen women, her rich inner world will be held jointly by the National Centre of Trade Unions, the Women's Union and Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. Young performers and musicians will take part in the competition.
Contest “The glorification of women in literary heritage”, which was also initiated jointly by the Women's Union, the National Centre of Trade Unions and Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan will gladden the devotees of poetry. The best lines about women of the great poets of all times and people will be read by the students of the capital’s higher educational establishments in Turkmen, Russian, English, Turkish, Chinese and Persian languages. Systematic and consistent activity of the state on maintenance of gender equality and empowerment of women’s role in implementation of large-scale reformation program of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will be discussed by the conference participants to be held in the capital and provinces of the country.
