The festivities took place in Mary Velayat to mark the opening of new social facilities on the eve of the main national holiday and the 20th anniversary of independence. A new school building was put into operation in the Azatlyk farmers association in Takhtabazar Etrap.
The new educational institution designed for 1,176 children were built by the Marygurlusyk Production Association within the framework of the National Programme of the President of Turkmenistan on the improvement of social and living conditions in settlements, villages, etrap towns and administrative centers till 2020.
The new rural school in Takhtabazar Etrap as well as similar facilities under construction throughout the country is an educational institution of a new type with the favourable conditions for integrated development of school children. The school building houses spacious and light classrooms, language laboratories, classrooms with laboratory and multimedia equipment for studying computer and natural sciences, workshops for labour education, assembly hall and gym. Playgrounds in the school yard are at disposal of school children.
