The Youth organization named after Makhtumkuli celebrated its 30th anniversary from the date of its foundation. In honor of a significant event the creative exhibition and solemn award ceremony of winners of the Youth Prize of Turkmenistan were held.
This year more than 60 young representatives of organization from across the country have the honour of winning this award. Achievements of each nominee in the professional and educational activity were assessed by the special commission. Among the winners – the candidates aged from 16 to 30, who made personal contribution to the benefit of the state.
The basic terms of competition for the Youth Prize are time limits – the special works must not exceed a three-year limitation period. But area of work can be various from literature and art to scientific researches, from medicine and sport to agriculture and active participation if the public work.
Founded on 16 November, 1991, the Youth organization named after Makhtumkuli, carries out an active work on various fields, providing great opportunities for the development and realization of potential of youth, its studying and social - labour activity. Within the framework of the «State Program in the field of state youth policy of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025» the competitions and events are held, which reflect the success of the young generation.
Over the years of its existence the Youth organization named after Makhtumkuli is furnished with its web-site, where the important events of the student youth are covered. The national competitions are organized in regular basis. For example, beginning from 2015 the Youth organization named after Makhtumkuli together with the Academy of science of the country organizes the scientific contest for the young generation of scientists, besides the Center of young scientists at the Academy is organized.
One of the achievements of this year is the joint action plan of the Young volunteers of organization and the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan. Besides, as a result of the state support the fruitful relations are established and developed in the field of education, science, culture and sport with the relevant international funds and organizations, among them are the United Nations Development Program, UN Population Fund, UNICEF and other.
