On December 31, 2021 and January 1, 2022, travel in public transport in Turkmenistan will be free. The corresponding instruction was given by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the meeting of the Government.

The movement of Ashgabat buses on city routes on New Year's Eve will be carried out from 6:00 am on December 31 to 02:00 am on January 1, 2022.

New Year is a family holiday, the leader of the nation noted, instructing to provide all conditions for a worthy meeting and holding festive celebrations.

As Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized, these steps are being taken in line with the current state policy, the main principle of which is "The state is for the person!"
