The President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in sent a congratulatory message to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Turkmenistan.

“On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Turkmenistan, I express friendly wishes to Your Excellency and the Turkmen people,” - says in the message.

Moon Jae-in expressed satisfaction with the fact that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries on February 7, 1992, interaction has been steadily developing in such areas as politics, economy, culture, and since 2008, mutually beneficial constructive partnership in various fields has been actively increasing.

“I am glad to that my visit to Turkmenistan in April 2019 brought bilateral relations to a new level, and the gas chemical plant in Kiyanly, which we visited, has become an important achievement of both countries and a cornerstone for expanding cooperation,” - noted the head of the Republic of Korea.

He expressed hope that this anniversary - the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations - will give a new impulse to expanding practical partnership and deepening mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries and peoples.

Moon Jae-in also wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov health and happiness, and prosperity to Turkmenistan.
