On February 9, a round table was held on the issues of translating into Russian terms in the field of financing and economics of health care. Experts from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of the World Health Organization and the CIS Executive Committee, who participated in the meeting, discussed the main approaches to the formation of the Russian version of the glossary of terms in the field of financing and economics of health care.

The relevance of the topic of the Round Table is due to the difficulties of translating English-language materials into Russian, including publications of the World Health Organization, and interpreting terms in the field of financing and economics of health care. Its participants were presented for discussion a draft Russian-language version of the glossary of terms in the field of financing and economics of health care, developed by specialists from the Central Research Institute for the Organization and Informatization of Healthcare.

Based on the results of the Round Table, the experts of the Commonwealth states were invited to submit their proposals, which will be considered at the next meeting.
