Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan) A.Kh.Bayramov took part in the events on the occasion of the Day of the Diplomatic Worker of Russia, which is celebrated on February 10. Thus, speaking at the conference held at the Institute of International Relations of the Kazan Federal (Volga) University (KFU), he congratulated his colleagues on their professional holiday and wished them success in training young diplomats.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Representative Office of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Kazan, Kazan Federal (Volga) University, as well as the Consulates General of foreign countries in Kazan.
The Turkmen diplomat noted Turkmenistan's commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership with the Russian Federation, including with certain regions of the Russian Federation.
Currently, trade and economic projects are being actively implemented with such companies of the Republic of Tatarstan as Kamaz PJSC, Tatneft PJSC, UK KER-Holding LLC, Kazan Helicopter Plant PJSC, Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation JSC cooperation in the field of agriculture and medicine is being activated. Over the past 2 years, the Consulate General, as well as the Turkmen House of Trade LLC, have been opened in Kazan. Of particular note is the cultural and humanitarian partnership between the two states. As of today, about 5 thousand Turkmen students receive education in Tatarstan, memorandums of cooperation have been signed between higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of which online lectures of the teaching staff are regularly held.
April 8 this year marks 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Russia. In this regard, the leadership of the Institute of International Relations of KFU agreed to hold a cultural event with the participation of Turkmen, Russian and foreign students on the eve of this anniversary, together with the Consulate General.
