In the north of Turkmenistan, in the city of Dashoguz, the construction of a new multidisciplinary hospital for 450 beds and an oncology clinic for 150 beds has entered the final stage. These two new large healthcare facilities, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, are being built by specialists from the individual enterprise Ajaýyp-gurluşyk. In total, they occupy an area of about fifteen hectares. New buildings, located along one of the most beautiful streets of the city - Gyorogly Street, will become a link in the magnificent architectural ensemble created in this part of Dashoguz.
Now both objects are completing the external decoration of the walls with marble slabs, internal finishing work, and landscaping of the adjacent territory are underway.
Like all modern healthcare facilities currently being built in the country, the new multidisciplinary hospital with 450 beds and the new oncology clinic with 150 beds will provide the population with a wide range of medical and diagnostic services at the level of the best world standards. Thus, the new multidisciplinary hospital, consisting of eight blocks of buildings of different heights, will house many departments equipped with the most modern medical equipment, allowing medical personnel to quickly identify and cure a variety of pathological processes and conditions of the cardiovascular system, chronic diseases of the lungs and respiratory tract, to diagnose and complex treatment of patients with various pathologies of the urinary system, prevent various types and types of allergic diseases, deal with problems of the musculoskeletal system, central and peripheral nervous system, diseases and injuries of the chest and its organs, diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, various other diseases, if necessary, to carry out surgical interventions of varying complexity at a high level.
The new 150-bed oncology clinic being built next to the hospital, in six different-storey blocks, will house an outpatient department, a palliative care department with a hospital, a general oncology department with separate women's and men's departments for 25 beds each, clinical and dispensary observation and radiology departments with hospital for 30 beds, hematology and chemotherapy, laboratory, pharmacy, administrative premises and others.
Both new healthcare facilities will have developed the necessary infrastructure, including their own laboratories, oxygen stations, laundries, canteens, workshops and storage facilities, parking lots, recreation areas and others. The multidisciplinary hospital will also be equipped with a helipad.
Caring for the health of the nation in Turkmenistan is one of the key aspects of state policy. As in its other regions, today in the Dashoguz velayat, as a result of the successful implementation of the developed comprehensive large-scale programs, a developed healthcare infrastructure has been created.
Modern healthcare institutions with a wide range of medical services such as an emergency ambulance center, a diagnostic center, the Ene Myahri maternal and child health center, and a 200-bed sanatorium with its own source of natural mineral water are successfully operating here.
In recent years, in the cities and rural areas of the velayat, dozens of health centers and houses have been built or overhauled in accordance with the requirements of the day, buildings of various departments of the velayat and some etrap multidisciplinary hospitals have been reconstructed.
