The «Magtymguly Pyragy» Culture and recreation Park, located in the southern part of Ashgabat near Mount Gindivar, will be completely reconstructed by the «Dost gurluşyk, söwda, önümçilik» economic society. The builders have already started the arrangement of the park. According to the project prepared by architects and designers, the area of the park zone will be significantly expanded and will occupy over 150,000 square meters. In most of this territory, in addition to the existing green spaces, about a dozen species of coniferous and deciduous trees will be planted, green lawns and flower beds will be planted, alleys will be paved and lengthened again, and original gazebos will be built. In total, about 4.8 thousand trees will be planted here.

The decoration of the central part of the park zone will be two original fountains lined with gray granite - an area of 584 and 382 square meters, an artificial waterfall will also be preserved, with the help of which two open reservoirs and the bed of a man-made river will be filled. Its banks are planned to be connected by new pedestrian and automobile bridges. The irrigation system will be completely updated, it will be carried out with the help of drip and sprinkler irrigation systems. It was decided to equip the water complex with three tanks - for drinking, irrigation and fire fighting purposes, with a total capacity of 1870 cubic meters.

Builders will renovate small architectural forms here (arbors, benches, trash cans, paving walkways with granite). More than 400 lighting masts are to be installed on the territory of the park zone. It was decided to veneer with gray granite - the entrance arch, the decorative fountain, as well as the cascade with the monument to the first President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Turkmenbashi on the opposite side of the highway. The reconstruction of the park is expected to be completed in June this year.
