On the eve of the International Women's Day in Ashgabat, the results of the annual show jumping "Woman of the Year" were summed up. The ceremony of honoring the winners was traditionally held on the first day of spring at the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan.

The final stage brought together the winners of the velayat tours and the city of Ashgabat at a big celebration. A festive musical program was organized for the fair sex, within the framework of which diplomas and valuable gifts from the President of our country were presented.

Women play a special role in the life of the state, society and family. Today, on the fragile shoulders of grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives and daughters lies not only the concern for the upbringing of the younger generation. Our contemporaries keep the family hearth, while achieving success in professional and social activities, making their worthy contribution to the good of the state.

Among the current contestants are women entrepreneurs, teachers and military personnel, land tenants and medical specialists, cultural workers and law enforcement agencies. Because of this, each finalist was awarded a separate nomination.

Gulnara Kulbayeva (Ashgabat) won in the nomination "For high organizational skills". Poetess Gulshirin Khanova was awarded the honorary title "Woman of the Year" in the nomination "For the dissemination of spiritual values and national cultural heritage in the world." Aibolek Bayramova, a representative of the Akhal velayat, became the winner in the nomination “For achievements in raising children”.

A resident of the Balkan velayat, Gurbangul Annamukhammedova, became the best in the nomination "For success in entrepreneurship and the development of a market economy." Tyazegul Pyurenova from the Dashoguz velayat was awarded in the nomination "For the preservation and development of the art of national artistic needlework." Gulistan Sherapova, a representative of the Lebap velayat, won in the nomination "For work to strengthen the country's defense and the rule of law in society". The work of Govher Khodzhiyeva from the Mary velayat was noted in the nomination "For Contribution to the Development of the Village".
