A monument with a statue of the famous horse Akhan, who walked 10 meters in 4.19 seconds in a “candle”, for which he was included in the Guinness Book of Records, will appear in Ahal velayat at the end of this year.

Here, in the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains, the construction of a new administrative center of the region is nearing completion - a modern city with a digital platform, the most convenient for a comfortable life, fruitful work and study, good rest, sports, and creativity. Urban infrastructure facilities include specialized educational institutions, healthcare, cultural, trade and service institutions, sports and other facilities.

The construction of the International Higher Educational Institution and the Research and Production Center for Horse Breeding is at the final stage.

The structure of the new university includes a hippodrome, training grounds, arenas and stables. Future certified hippologists will study the anatomical, physiological and psychological characteristics of the Ahal-Teke breed of horses, the history of breeding and selection, traditional and modern methods of keeping and large-scale breeding work, and directions for the further development of horse breeding.

For effective work on the comprehensive development of the Akhal-Teke horse breeding, the closest attention is paid to the technical equipment of the branch Research and Production Center.

Currently, equipment is being installed in the equestrian circus, where riders on Ahal-Teke horses will demonstrate breathtaking elements of horse riding at full gallop.

Together with the International Equestrian Complex of the Ahal velayat, all these facilities form a single system, contributing to the further comprehensive development of domestic horse breeding and national equestrian sports, enhancing international cooperation in this area and increasing the world fame of one of the most ancient and beautiful riding breeds.
