The results of scientific research and informative information in the environmental journal of Turkmenistan

The first issue of the popular scientific journal “Ecological Culture and Environmental Protection” in 2022, which is published under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, offers readers a selection of materials on various issues of environmental protection and biodiversity, which have a scientific, applied and cognitive character.

In the light of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028 declared by the UN, the material published by the journal “Legislative framework for the careful use of water resources in Turkmenistan” is relevant. Applied water issues are discussed in the articles “Technical solutions for improving the economic efficiency and environmental safety of water treatment facilities” and “Prevention of damage caused by mudflows, as well as its rational use”.

The article “The environmental impact of electric vehicles” analyzes the current global trend associated with the “green” strategy of replacing diesel and gasoline cars with electric cars to curb negative climate change.

The journal “Ecological culture and environmental protection” presents materials of both a general nature, for example, “The role of saponins in the composition of plants” about nitrogen-free glycosides with surface-active properties, and dedicated to individual representatives of the flora and fauna of Turkmenistan. Among them: “Biodiversity of microdispids in Turkmenistan”, “Steppe horses found in our sunny country”, “Sweet-voiced keklik”. And the article “Growing the Virginian Juniper” discusses the practical aspects of cultivating ornamental conifers from the cypress family, which naturally grow in North America.
