The first forum of state labor inspectors of the countries of Central Asia and Russia began its work in Uzbekistan

Today, August 9th, on the first day of the forum of state labor inspectors from the countries of Central Asia and Russia, more than 60 experts from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia the issues related to the joint development and implementation of policies in the field of state supervision in the sphere of labor started to be discussed. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of the United Nations Development Program.

During the event, discussions will take place on topics such as increasing the level of knowledge, efficiency and fruitfulness of labor inspectors and a number of international trainings are planned to be held for this.

The meeting participants plan to consider issues related to the most important principles of the International Labor Organization, migration legislation, the concept of zero injuries, as well as labor legislation in the field of agriculture.

As a result of the forum, which will end on August 12th, it is planned to establish common approaches regarding the introduction of modern tools for ensuring safe working conditions and protecting labor rights in Central Asia.
