Improvement of the Uchaji settlement is going on within the framework of social reformations expanded in the regions of the country. In January of the last year, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited this populated area during the working visit to the Mary province. Soon, it was adopted a scale program of fundamental transformation of Uchaji.
Eighteen streets of the settlement are getting a new look. Accomplishment of six of them has been completed. Every street is bordered with pavements, flowerbeds and facilities urged to represent modern and functional infrastructure of the new settlement. Builders of the “Maryyolgurlushyk” Production Association lay asphalt coat on the village roads.
Already in the first months of scale works expanded here, it was solved the problem of water supply for everyday and household needs of the population. Within the framework of the “General program of pure drinking water supply of the populated areas in Turkmenistan”, a new water conduit has been laid to the settlement. The personnel of the Mary hydrogeological expedition have made their significant contribution to this activity. They have provided the boring of the production wells on the earlier proven territory of fresh underground waters “Zahmet”. Specialists of the mobile mechanized post of the “Maryvelayatagyzsuv” Production Association have realized the interconnection within a short period of time.
A new building of Gengeshlik is being constructed by the 4th Construction and mounting management of the “Marygurlushyk” Production Association. Fitters and bricklayers carry out works on walling, installation of columns and girders of the second floor. Next month, the interior finishing work, laying and supplying of networks will be started.
Soon, the Health center and pharmacy will start to function in the settlement. External works have been practically completed. Interior decorations are going on. A new school for 400 pupils out of three two-storey blocks with functional linking passages will rise in the settlement. The complex of the school will occupy a four-hectare territory. Builders of the “Toyli Anna” private firm finish the laying of foundation and proceeded to the walling of the sport block of the school. The House of culture for 200 seats is being erected by the group of builders of the same private firm. There will be auditorium on the first floor, and studio rooms and classrooms for various kinds of art studies – on the second floor.
Another socially important facility –a kindergarten for 160 seats is being erected by the “Bashlar” private firm. This two-storey establishment consists of two functional buildings jointed with the covered passage, uniting bedrooms, playing, food, entertaining departments and first-aid post. Both buildings have been covered with metal tile.
The sewerage system is being laid; the construction of the sewerage-pumping station has been started.
The facilities under construction, including industrial ones for local raw material processing are planned to be put into exploitation in the current year. By this moment, there will be green zones in the settlement. These zones are laid out in the course of construction. The original arch, which décor contains traditions of ancient architects, will adorn the central gate of the settlement.
