On April 29, 2012, the international beauty contest of Akhalteke horses will be held at the International Horse Complex. This day, it will be also held the creative contests on artistic embodiment of beauty of Akhalteke racers in the productions of fine, decorative and applied arts among the carpet-weavers, jewelers, artists and sculptors. At today’s meeting of Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov under relevant order has confirmed the jury of the contests.

As is noted, the contests will be organized on the occasion of Turkmen Horse Day, which is traditionally celebrated on the last Sunday of April, as well as with a view of further augmentation of the worldwide glory of “heavenly” racers, which are national property and pride of the Turkmen people.
