An exhibition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and philosopher of the East Magtymguly Fragi has opened at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. The exhibition is organized jointly by the university and the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.

The opening of the exhibition was a significant event for connoisseurs of Magtymguly's creativity, students and university professors, who were invited on this day by numerous guests. With particular interest student youth got acquainted with the book collection. The attractive poetry of Magtymguly is permeated with the deepest wisdom and philosophy. The immeasurably rich literary heritage of the poet is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, morality, patriotism, courage and an exemplary school of education for the younger generation.

Literature telling about the life and work of Magtymguly Fragi is widely presented at the book exhibition. The contents of the exhibition included priceless works of the brilliant poet and thinker, books published in different languages of the peoples of the world.

Numerous literary and philosophical works of the Respected Hero-Arkadag dedicated to the ancient richest culture of the Turkmen people, history, national spiritual and moral values and noble traditions are also presented to the attention of the visitors of the book exhibition.

The book exhibition will be open to visitors for five days, until 15 February. During this period, a number of other cultural events are planned to be held at the university under the motto of 2023 in Turkmenistan “Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar”.

The program of events includes a round table on the topic "Magtymguly sözlär tili türkmeniň" with the participation of teachers and students of the university. Then there will be a meeting dedicated to the literary work of the Hero-Arkadag. It will feature excerpts from author's works performed by students.

During the events, a performance by the student amateur art group of the institute under the guidance of the lecturer of the Department of Languages Bahargul Ashirova will also be organized. The life and work of the great Magtymguly Fragi will be discussed among connoisseurs and admirers of his work among students and teachers of the institute on the fourth day of the exhibition. At the final meeting, the results will be discussed and the results of the activities carried out will be summed up.
