The Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi invites students of grades 9-11 of secondary schools of Turkmenistan to take part in the 1st Olympiad in the Russian language.

The Olympiad is held in two rounds. The first round will be held online on March 15 this year from 14:00 to 17:00. Within three hours, participants will need to write an essay and send it to the Organizing Committee of the event by e-mail olimp.russkiyyazyk@gmail.com. The topic of the essay will be announced by the organizers at the beginning of the first round.

The results of the first stage of the competition and the list of participants who made it to the second round will be published on April 24 on the official website of the organizing university.

High school students who wish to take part in the upcoming Olympiad must submit an application on the website of the D.Azadi TNIWL at in the Internet Olympiad section. Registration of participants continues, acceptance of applications will end on March 13 at 18:00.

The Olympiad in the Russian language is held with the aim of developing, improving and evaluating the knowledge, skills, creative abilities of students, stimulating interest in further study and popularization of the Russian language as a language of interethnic communication. The intellectual review was also organized within the framework of the Concept for Improving the Teaching of Foreign Languages and the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System implemented in Turkmenistan.
