The editors of Ashgabat newspaper, together with the khyakimlik of Ashgabat city, the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan and the Ashgabat Committee of Magtymguly youth organization of the Turkmenistan, launched the creative contest «Adyň ýüreklerde aýdym, Aşgabat!».
The competition is dedicated to the Day of the city of Ashgabat, which is annually celebrated on May 25th.
Its goal is to demonstrate the magnificence of the architecture of the Turkmen capital, to tell about the conditions created in the city for a comfortable residence of the population, the features of its environmental improvement.
Any resident of the country engaged in creativity can take part in the competition. Candidates need to prepare articles, poems or photographs that reveal the beauty of Ashgabat and send to the editorial office of the capital newspaper until May 20th.
The work presented should not be previously published in the media.
The jury will consider the applications and select the best works that will be published in the Ashgabat newspaper in the future. The names of the winners will be announced as part of the celebration of the City Day.
