As Hero-Arkadag emphasized, the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan should take an active part in protecting and strengthening the foundations of the Turkmen family, improving its material well-being, establishing close relationships with the people, and the deputies of the Mejlis with the ministries and sectoral departments of our country and international organizations.

One of the fundamental principles of the state policy of Turkmenistan is expressed in the motto «The health of the people is the wealth of the country». In this context, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that from this point of view, a healthy society is the backbone of a prosperous state. As a recent vivid evidence of the great attention paid in the country to improving the health of the Turkmen people, the laying of the construction of modern medical facilities - the International Scientific and Clinical Centre of Oncology, the Centre for Dentistry and the International Center for Pediatrics, which will replenish the multidisciplinary structure of the national health care system, was named.

The active introduction of innovative technologies and advanced equipment from world-famous companies, a wide network of specialized institutions and internships for specialists in major medical centers around the world make it possible to provide the population with high-quality and high-tech medical services in a short time, reduce morbidity and increase life expectancy.

The health of the people is not only the main wealth of the country, but also a key factor in the happy future of the current and future generations of Turkmen citizens, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted, continuing that the comprehensive activity to form an advanced national healthcare system fully reflects the essence of the socially oriented policy of Turkmenistan, the main principle of which «The state is for man!».

Comprehensive care for children, with whom our bright future is connected, has been and remains a priority area of state policy that meets the primordial national traditions, the principles of humanism and international norms. In Turkmenistan, recognized as the land of happy childhood, much attention is paid to educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, humanism and friendship. Great importance is attached to its physical, intellectual, spiritual, moral and social development. The protection of motherhood and childhood is one of the main priorities of the «Saglyk» State Program.

As the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted, guided by the noble tradition of our ancestors to support those in need, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship was established with headquarters in the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children's Health and Rehabilitation Centre in the city of Arkadag. As is known, at the expense of the fund, assistance was provided in restoring the health of many children in need of care, and this noble work will be continued in the future. The charitable foundation provides assistance not only to children in need of guardianship in Turkmenistan, but also sent humanitarian aid to children in Turkey and Ukraine.
