Envoys from all regions of the country, who will travel to Mecca and Medina to perform hajj on the eve of the Muslim festival of Kurban bayramy, gathered in the Turkmen capital. A special flight will be organized by the Turkmenhowayollary State National Service.
As is known, thousands of our compatriots have been provided with an opportunity during the years of independence to make a pilgrimage to bow to the sacred Kaaba and perform all Eid ul Adha, or Kurban bayramy rituals.
According to the Council for Religious Affairs under the President of Turkmenistan our compatriots will arrive in Mecca on October 30 and perform all rituals of the hajj. Then Turkmen pilgrims will travel to Medina where they will visit the resting place of the Prophet of Muhammad and his co-workers.
