On August 6, 2021, on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea the next Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia was successfully held. In parallel with this event, on the platform of the above-mentioned Forum the Dialogue of Women of Central Asian states was held.

Turkmenistan actively supports the dialogue on Afghanistan
A meeting of the Special Representatives of the region’s countries on Afghanistan took place in the format of a videoconference. The subject matter of the session was the situation in the neighboring country. The session was also attended by the Special Representatives on Afghanistan of Iran, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The Turkmen delegation at the meeting was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev.

Turkmenistan - EBRD: Cooperation in the Transition to a Market Economy
Since the first years of independence, Turkmenistan has consistently developed cooperation with international financial institutions to attract investment in the economy and support priority development areas. In particular, long-term cooperation links the country with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which this year also celebrated its 30th anniversary. The bank was established in April 1991 and is the largest investor in the region.
