Professors from Turkmenistan’s universities participated in an online webinar titled “Empowering Educators: Unlocking the Potential of Generative AI in Teaching and Learning,” organized by the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI).

The webinar’s speaker was Kaushal Kumar Bhagat, Deputy Chair of the Centre for Teaching Learning and Virtual Skilling and Associate Professor in the Advanced Technology Development Centre at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

The informative presentation by the specialist from India enabled the webinar participants to significantly expand and deepen their understanding, knowledge, and experience in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning. Drawing on concrete examples, the speaker described the effective integration of generative AI into the educational process, new approaches to organizing and planning lessons with the help of AI, modern systems of knowledge assessment, personalized learning, and the development of creative content.

The webinar generated considerable interest among the Turkmen university professors, who took an active part in thematic dialogues and discussions during the event. The educators received comprehensive answers to all their questions regarding the application of digital innovative technologies and artificial intelligence in education, international experience in the use of AI, as well as the introduction of AI into the scientific-educational sphere and industry.
