Turkmen Architecture and Construction University Announces Winners of the “CodeMaster 2025” Hackathon

The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute has announced the winners of the “CodeMaster 2025” hackathon, held among students of higher and secondary vocational education institutions across the country.

The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to the team of the Turkmen State University named after Magtumguly.

First place was won by the teams of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and the Border Institute of Turkmenistan.

Second place was shared by participants from the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Third place went to three student teams representing the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.

The winners of the hackathon received diplomas of corresponding degrees and gifts from the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute.

The competition was held online from December 4 to 5 in a team-based format. Students from 17 educational institutions of the country took part, with each institution represented by one team of four students. Thus, a total of 17 teams competed, demonstrating their knowledge, talents, and skills in solving IT-related tasks.

According to the rules of the intellectual competition, teams were required to present an original software development project for various fields and purposes. They were given 3 hours to complete the task.

The jury evaluated the completed IT solutions based on five main criteria:

• Aesthetic quality of the program interface

• Simplicity and user-friendliness

• Software performance speed

• Data security quality

• Program size

The hackathon was organized with the aim of improving the professional training of students, fostering their creative and innovative potential, analytical thinking, talents and abilities, and interest in their future profession. It also aimed to develop skills in creating software for different fields and tasks, identifying ways to improve software efficiency, and building teamwork abilities.
