Production of paving bitumen used for construction and repair of roads that satisfy all TDS requirements, started with putting a modern unit with the annual capacity of 37,200 tons of cementing material into operation. The technological novelty was installed in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan by Westport Trading Europe Limited (USA) with the aim to increase the volumes of production of high-quality oil products in the country.

The unit, which consists of three sections, including residual oil vacuum distillation section, tar viscosity breaking section and oxidation section, produces bitumen in several ways – through deep vacuum distillation of raw materials - residual oil, mild thermal cracking of tar and deep vacuum distillation of viscosity breaking residue as well as by obtaining oxidized bitumen.

New production significantly increases production of raw materials that satisfy all modern requirements for manufacture of high-quality asphalt concrete.

Since the beginning of the year the combined atmospheric vacuum unit with preliminary desalting of oil and rerun gasoline distillation with the annual capacity of six million tons has processed more than 115,000 tons of raw materials - oil and gas condensate that is much more as compare to the same period of 2015. Production of extraction and straight-run gasoline, which is used for extraction of dietary fat in a closed apparatus and as a component of motor fuel and fuel for high-speed diesel and gas turbine engines significantly increases at the enterprise.
