Around 19 thousand tons of high quality road bitumen and almost 25 thousand tons of heavy and light vacuum gasoil which is component of fuel oil, were produced at Seydi Refinery for seven months.
Production of binding material – bitumen, necessary for construction and repair of roads, started with put into operation of modern installation by Westport Trading Europe Limited (USA). Putting into operation of top equipment was completed according the assignment of President of Turkmenistan for increase of variety and quality of oil products, for expansion of the process of oil and gas condensate refinery.
Bitumen is produced by few methods on the installation included three sections: fuel-oil vacuum distillation module, tar visbreaker and oxidation section. These methods are deep vacuum refinery of input material – bitumen, light thermal cracking of tar, deep vacuum distillation of remains of visbreaking process on according line and oxidation of bitumen on its section as well.
New production allowed increasing of output of materials meeting all standard requirements. More than 37 thousand tons of high quality road bitumen will be produced per annum by the refinery.
Combined atmospheric - vacuum distillation unit with tentative desalinization of crude oil and secondary refinery of benzenes with 6 million ton of oil per year operates in Seydi refinery. Lebap petroleum processors use natural crude oil and gas condensate for producing of commodity items.
From the beginning of this year, around 390 thousand tons of oil and gas condensate were distilled in atmospheric - vacuum unit, which is for 55.5 thousand tons more than for the same period of the last year. Production of major variety of product – extraction and straight-run gasoline, which are used for both extraction of food fats from enclosed apparatus and as motor fuel in combination with high octane gasoline as well as fuel for high speed diesel and high turbine engines, increased for high rates of processing.
