Representatives of the Polish Ministry of foreign affairs are currently on a working visit to the capital of Turkmenistan. European diplomats participated in the business forum «New horizons for connectivity and sustainable growth» between Turkmenistan and the European Union, which was held at the «Yyldyz» hotel in the capital. The event focused on the «Global Gateway» strategy, energy, «green development», and transport and logistics cooperation.
During the visit, Polish diplomats held a number of working meetings, including at the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, where they discussed issues of enhancing cooperation between foreign ministries of the countries. The guests then visited the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, where they met with experts from the scientific centre for strategic studies, which operates at the university. Guests − Michal Grecilo and Mateusz Boryshchuk discussed the establishment of mutual cooperation with Turkmen analysts in a businesslike and friendly conversation.
It should be noted that this is not the first meeting between the experts of the institute and experienced Polish diplomat Michal Grecilo, who has visited Turkmenistan several times. The Turkmen side was represented at the meeting by Ambassador Shiri Shiriyev, director of the Scientific centre for strategic studies, and experts Bekdurdy Amansaryyev and Orazgeldi Annabayev.
Following the official events, Polish diplomats toured the sights of Ashgabat.
